Transferring an outside call to an inside line.
1. Place the call on hold:
Press the button during a call.
The icon will blink next to a line on hold. Press the button to pick up the call at any time.
2. Call the person they’re trying to reach:
Press then dial the extension to ask if they would like to take the call. You may also just press an autodial button if the keys are set.
3. If the recipient would like to take the call:
a. Office Staff:
Staff members only need to know the line (Lines 1 through 5). They can pick up the call themselves.
b. Upper Campus Classrooms (5-6, Tech Center, Library, Science, PAC):
These classrooms only need to know the line (Lines 1 through 5). They can pick up the call themselves.
c. Lower Campus Classrooms (K-4, Art, Drama, Music):
Does not have the feature to pick up (Lines 1 through 5), please transfer the call only.
4. To transfer a call:

Pick up the call on hold and let them know they are being transferred.

Press the display button

Dial the classroom extension

Press the display button
-
End the call by hanging up.
5. If the recipient cannot take the call:
Pick up the call on hold and ask if they would like to leave a voicemail.
To transfer a call to voicemail:
Press , dial the voicemail extension, then end the call by hanging up
